Myriam Ouaki is a partner awyer at Pares Advogados. Before she was an associate lawyer in the Competition, Regulatory and EU department of Abreu Advogados in Lisbon. She is a French lawyer qualified in Portugal with an extensive experience in EU and Competition related matters, and is responsible for the newsletter of the Competition, Regulatory and EU Law Practice Area in Abreu. In 2006 and 2007 she worked fas case handler in the Chambers of the Slovenian judge Mrs Trstenjak, at the General Court of the European Court of Justice, in Luxembourg, and afterwards in DG Information Society and Media of the European Commission in Brussels. Previously, she was a legal advisor in the Telecoms Unit of the French Ministry of Economy, DG for Competition and Consumer Law, and also in the French Competition Authority, both in Paris. Myriam has a Law and a Master’s degree, a Specialisation Diploma for European Law and a Post-graduate European Law degree from University Paris XII - Law School. She is fluent in French, English and Portuguese.
