Michal Miko

Member of ACER

Michal Miko has been a member of ACER since 2013. Currently, he is a legal advisor in the ACER Market Monitoring Department with a particular focus on REMIT. Prior to that, he was an associate at the Bratislava office of Kinstellar with an in-depth experience in competition and energy law. Before joining Kinstellar he was a trainee at the European Commission where he was a member of the antitrust case team dealing with energy and environmental sectors. He graduated from the University of Liege in competition and intellectual property law where he gained his LL.M. degree (Thesis : Article 82 EC in the Energy Sector : the most effective tool to enhance the competition ?). He speaks Slovak, English and French.
