Case Handler

Maria Moustakali is a Case Handler at the European Ombudsman. Before she was a Legal Officer of Legal and Executive Affairs, EFTA Surveillance Authority. She joined it in 2011. Having graduated from the Law School of the University of Athens, she followed two LL.M. programs, in the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, on European Law and later in the Law School of Columbia University in the city of New York, USA, on Business Law. She has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2007 and had been working in the competition and commercial law department of a law firm in Athens. She has represented the EFTA Surveillance Authority before the EFTA Court and the EU Courts in several competition, State aid and internal market cases.
