Ms. Shimada is especially active in cross-border matters such as international cartels and international merger control cases. Ms Shimada graduated from the University of Tokyo (LLB) in 1997 and earned a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School in 2003 and a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School in 2005.
