Liza Bellulo has been a judge at the French Conseil d’Etat, the administrative supreme court, since January 2017. She is specialised in tax issues, transport and environment. She has an extensive experience in European affairs in various positions (legal counsel at the Secretariat general for European affairs, within the Prime Minister’s office, from 2014 to 2017 ; member of the cabinet of Jean-Pierre Jouyet, the Secretary of State for European affairs during the negotiation of the Lisbon Treaty and the French Presidency of the Council of European Union, from 2007 to end 2008 ; expert in European affairs within the French ministry of Justice, notably in the cabinet of Marc Guillaume, from 2003 to 2007). She also had a five-year experience within the French competition authority, as an adviser from European affairs and a head of cabinet of President Bruno Lasserre (2009-2014). She graduated from Sciences Po Paris, holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School and is an ENA alumnus. She taught business EU law to Master II students at Paris II Panthéon Assas from 2010 to 2014 and gives regularly lectures on EU law and EU institutions to ENA, MEGA and master of EU public affairs students at ENA.
