Khelifa Tounekti is a former student from the Tunisia National School of Administration (1981). He specialised in Economics from the University of Tunis (1978) and holds a Master degree in gestion (1978). He was deputy director at the Ministry of Economy and director in charge of the control of projects at the Prime Ministry (1989), director of studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1993), director of price and competition at the Ministry of Trade (1994). Since 2002, he is General Director for Competition at the Ministry of Trade. Khalifa tounekti is also a regular speaker in seminars and colloquium organised by the European Union, the CNUCED, the WTO, the OECD, the ICN, the Arab League.
