Joëlle Simon, PhD, is the director of legal affairs (business law) of the MEDEF, the French business confederation where she started in 1983-1984 as Deputy to the General Economic Affairs Manager. Jöelle Simon has been teaching as Lecturer at University Paris XII University from 1976 to 1984. She has been, inter alia, a member of the Advisory Group on Corporate governance and Company Law (since May 2005) and was a member of the High level group of Company law experts, European Commission (2001 to 2002).
