Jessica Walch-Barton is an Antitrust counsel at PETRONAS. She advises on all matters revolving around antitrust issues and foreign direct investment requirements which impact either of the operational and strategic levels of the organisation. She has over 15 years of experience in Competition law and Business, and was exposed in the past to multiple working environments in French, US and UK law firms, respectively in Paris/Aix-en-Provence, Boston and Brussels. She is a retired member of both the NY Bar and the Paris Bar. She also served as a trainee with the Antitrust Unit focusing on the Pharmaceutical industry at the Competition Directorate of the European Commission. During her studies at the University of California, Berkeley, she was a research assistant for Professor Howard A. Shelanski and she also worked as a research fellow with the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.
