Javier Torrecilla Pérez is a counsel at Ashurst in Madrid. Prior to this, he was an associate of the Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira EU and competition Law Team based in Brussels. Javier holds a Joint Honours degree in Law and Economics, from the University Zaragoza (2008) and a Master in European Economic Studies (European Law and Economic Analysis (ELEA) specialization), from the College of Europe (2009). He assists and represents national and international companies at national and EU level in different areas of competition law (mergers and acquisitions, antitrust and state aid) as well as EU law.
