Mr Cortázar, lawyer from the Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá, is the most prolific Colombian legal writer in competition law. He is one of the founders of the Colombia’s only academic law journal in international law (International Law – Revista Colombiana de Derecho Internacional), lecturer in various Colombian universities in competition law and also a practitioner. Mr Cortázar is a member of the Academic Society for Competition Law (ASCOLA) and the International Law Association (ILA). He holds an LLM in International, European and Trade Law from Sheffield University (UK).
