Inge Govaere is holder of the Jean Monnet Chair in EU Legal Studies at Ghent University and is Director of the European Legal Studies Department at the College of Europe in Bruges. She obtained her Ph.D. at the European University Institute in Firenze in 1994. Her books include" The Use and Abuse of Intellectual Property Rights in EC Law" (Sweet & Maxwell, 1996) and "Trade and Competition Law in the EU and Beyond" (Edward Elgar, 2011)
