Hans-Jürgen was a member of White & Case’s Antitrust practice. He advised companies and associations on all aspects of German and European antirust law with a focus on merger control notification as well as proceedings dealing with the abuse of market power. Hans-Jürgen Ruppelt gained significant expertise in the trade and transport sectors. Prior to joining White & Case, Hans-Jürgen Ruppelt worked for the German Federal Cartel Office between 1976 and 2007 being the head inter alia of the General Policy Department and finally of the Decision Division for Trade and Transport. Hans-Jürgen Ruppelt has advised foreign governments in numerous assignments abroad, inter alia in China in 2006 and 2007.
