Mr. Bhatia is a Partner at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices and heads the Competition Law Practice Group. He practices in anti-trust and competition related areas and has broad expertise of representing clients before the various fora such as, the Competition Commission of India, the Competition Appellate Tribunal etc. in contentious matters as well as merger control. Mr. Bhatia is a Former Additional Director General, CCI and the erstwhile Monopolies & Restrictive Trade Practices Commission, New Delhi. Mr. Bhatia has also been ranked amongst the ‘Leaders in their Field’ in Competition/Antitrust by the Chambers Asia 2012, a Chambers & Partners publication. He has significant experience in advising and representing a broad range of clients, including companies in the steel, cement, aviation, chemicals, tyre, real estate, IT/ITES, media sector, etc; and in structuring and implementing competition law compliance programmes and in conducting regular compliance training.
