Gul Akad is a supervising associate in Banking group based in London. She has worked with IFIs and financial institutions on their general corporate, project and structured finance transactions in both developed and developing markets with a particular focus on trade & commodities finance. Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, Gul Akad worked for UBS and for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (London). Prior to that, she worked at White & Case. She graduated with a Master of Science (MSc), Law and Finance from the University of Oxford in 2014. she also graduated from Galatasaray Üniversitesi.
