Guillaume Cerutti held the position of CEO of the Georges Pompidou Centre between 1996 and 2001, a period marked by the renovation of the Musée National d’Art Moderne. Between 2002 and 2004, he was the chief of staff of the Minister of Culture and played a decisive role in the preparation of the laws that reformed corporate sponsorship. In 2004 he was appointed head of the executive office for Consumerism and Competition in the Ministry of Economy and Finance. He has been président-directeur of Sotheby’s France from 2007 to 2015. Guillaume Cerutti joined Christies’ London in 2016, first as president Europe, Middle East, Russia and India and then, since 2017, as CEO. Guillaume Cerutti is also chairman of the board of directors of the Artists’ Foudation (la Fondation des Artistes), a French foundation dedicated to supporting and promoting artists.
