Dominique Guex is a Partner at Bourgeois Avocats since 2016. Mr. Guex graduated from the University of Fribourg Law School in 2000. In the following years, he worked at the Swiss Competition Commission in Bern, the Competition Directorate of the European Commission in Brussels, a law firm in Bienne and as a clerk with the Regional Court in Bienne. He passed the bar in Bern in 2005 and then joined the firm. More recently, Dominique graduated with a LL.M. from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington DC and passed the New York bar exam. He also worked at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington DC and obtained a Certificate in Corporate Finance from Georgetown University. Dominique’s main areas of practice include competition law (antitrust), corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and pension law. He is also a lecturer in competition law at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland in Neuchâtel, as well as for the CAS in International Competition Law and Compliance organized by the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, the UNCTAD and the New York State Bar Association. He is fluent in French, English and German.
