Francisco Cantos is the partner responsible for the antitrust, competition and trade (ACT) practice in Spain. He joined the firm in 1990 and became a partner in 1998. Before joining the Madrid office, he worked for ACT in our London and Brussels offices. Francisco is an expert in competition law. In over 15 years of professional practice, he has acted for a number of Spanish and multinational clients before the Spanish and EU competition authorities, including Bayer, Ferrovial, Iberia, L’Oréal, Mahou San Miguel, Marks & Spencer, Osborne, PepsiCo, Sony and Sotheby’s. Francisco speaks Spanish, English and French. He lectures frequently on competition law matters and has published numerous articles. He has a law degree from the University of Madrid and an LLM in European Law from the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium.
