Florin Dăscălescu is a Romanian-qualified lawyer, currently acting as senior legal counsel at the European Investment Fund (EIB Group). Previously, he was an associate with Van Bael & Bellis in Brussels, where he practiced international trade law (primarily EU trade defence measures and WTO) and EU competition law. Florin Dascalescu holds an LL.M. degree from Georgetown Law Center (GULC) and a DES degree from the Institute of European Studies (IEE, Brussels). He received a Grotius Fellowship at the Michigan Law School (Ann Arbor). Florin Dascalescu has constantly published articles in various legal journals since 2003, on topics including EU competition law, WTO and human rights.
