Dr Flavien TCHAPGA is Associate professor in economics and Co-director of the Master 2 "Economic Analysis and Risk Governance" at Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (France). His research is concerned with market institutions gap in the economic liberalization process in sub-saharan Africa countries, with the aim to bridge the gap for efficient markets, private sector development and poverty reduction. He’s drafted reports on behalf of international organizations including “The implementation of competition law and policy in Cameroon” (UNCTAD); “Assessement of nuclear power plant decommissioning funds mechanisms in OECD countries” (NEA-OECD). Dr TCHAPGA stayed in January 2013 at Université Senghor of Alexandria in Egypt as a visiting professor. He lectured on "Competition policy in sub-saharan Africa francophone countries", "Energy and development in Africa", and on "Electricity sector reform in sub-saharan Africa francophone countries".
