


Filip Kubik
Filip Kubík is policy analyst - DG Competition of the European Commission, member of the team responsible for the Commission’s policy initiative on private enforcement of the EU antitrust rules since 2008. Between 2005 and 2008, he worked in DG Competition’s departments dealing with antitrust enforcement in the telecommunications and IT sectors. Prior to joining the Commission, he was attorney in the Prague office of the Kocián Šolc Balaštík law firm, focusing on competition law, telecommunications law, litigation and arbitration. He studied law at the University of Passau (Germany) and the Charles University of Prague (Czech Republic), graduating from the latter in 1996. He obtained postgraduate degree in European law (LL.M.Eur. summa cum laude) from the University of Hamburg (Germany) in 1999 and postgraduate degree in international relations from the Free University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) in 2000.
