Eleonora is Managing Director at Prometheus Public Affairs Eleonora has a deep knowledge of the functioning of the EU. She has twelve years cross-sector experience in EU public affairs gained at the European Commission, private legal practice, media and public affairs consultancy. Her primary expertise covers energy and competition policy. She previously worked as a Competition and Regulatory Affairs Reporter based in PaRR’s Brussels office. A qualified lawyer, Eleonora has in-depth knowledge of the wide range of antitrust topics. Before joining PaRR, Eleonora worked as competition and regulatory lawyer at WilmerHale and Covington & Burling. She advised clients on a wide range of EU competition matters, including cartels, abuse of dominant position cases and mergers. She also litigated before the European Court of Justice. She worked for clients in a variety of sectors, with a special focus on energy. Prior to moving into private practice, Eleonora spent several years at the European Commission, in DG COMP’s energy unit. There she worked on the energy sector inquiry and on prominent energy cases. In that context, she wrote articles on the liberalisation of the energy sector and spoke at conferences. She practiced her legal skills at the European Court of Justice and at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Eleonora speaks English, French, Italian, Swedish and Dutch.
