Eider Echeverría Álvarez is a case handler at European Commission, Directorate General for Competition, Unit D1 - Antitrust, Payment Systems. Previously, she was an associate of the CUATRECASAS, GONÇALVES PEREIRA EU and Competition law team based in Brussels. Eider assisted and represented national and international companies at EU and national level with respect to different areas of competition law (mergers and acquisitions, antitrust and state aids). Eider has also experience in proceedings before Community Courts and Spanish Courts, and in a number of other EU law fields, such as internal market law and trade law.
