Eesvan joined Chambers in September 2014 after a 12-month pupillage. His pupil supervisors were Andrew George, Ivan Hare, Shaheed Fatima, and Nick De Marco. Prior to joining Chambers, Eesvan worked as judicial assistant to the Chief Justice of New Zealand (2006–2007), read for the BCL and DPhil in Law at the University of Oxford (2007–2010, 2013–2014), and practised at the commercial bar in New Zealand (2011–2012). During pupillage, Eesvan assisted his supervisors with cases before a range of tribunals and courts, including the High Court, the Court of Appeal, employment tribunals, and sports arbitral tribunals.
