Edouard Geffray is General Secretary of the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL). He was in the past the director of Legal and International Affairs and Expertise of the CNIL. Maître des requêtes at the French Supreme Administrative Court, he previously held various positions at this jurisdiction. Edouard Geffray graduated from the National School of Administration (ENA), the Political Science Institute of Paris (IEP) and hold a Masters degree in history.
