Michael Buch is Director Compliance, Competition & Procurement Partnerships at Metro GROUP. He joined Metro AG in 2007. Prior to that, he was Associate at White & Case. His competition law practice covered a broad range of issues including merger control, joint ventures, agreements between competitors, misuse of market power, cartel conduct and restrictive practices in distribution agreements under EC and German competition laws. With in-depth working experience in the three major antitrust jurisdictions Europe, USA and Germany, his practice focused on cross-border transactions and multi-national antitrust cases. He graduated in law from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, and a LLM from King’s College London. He is studying a MBA at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2014 till 2016.
