Dominique is a former judge at the Belgian Competition Council (2000-2013). Prior to her nomination as a judge, she acted as in-house legal counsel to a French multinational company. She began her career as a commercial lawyer at the Brussels Bar, specialising in all aspects of EU and Belgian competition law, including investigations and leniency applications. Dominique is an accredited business Mediator and Arbitrator (Cepani) and specializes in all types of commercial disputes. She is currently the director of the Belgian Association of Competition Law and the former deputy General Secretary and General Secretary of the International Association of Competition Law (www.lidc.org). She is the author of various publications in the field of competition and commercial law. Dominique works in French, Dutch and English.
