David M. Ortega Peciña is since September 2005 in charge of the European Public Affairs and Competition area at the Organización de Consumidores y Usuarios (OCU), the Spanish most representative consumer organization. Before joining OCU, he practiced EU and competition law in Brussels at Cuatrecasas Abogados and at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. David represents Spanish consumers at the competition group of the European Commission’s European Consumer Consultative Group and seats at the management board of the European Consumers’ Organisation, BEUC.
