Mr. Draigh is a partner in the White & Case’s Litigation Department. He has wide experience in commercial and complex litigation, including class actions, at the trial and appellate level. Mr. Draigh has represented foreign and domestic corporations and individuals in consumer class actions, internal investigations, contract disputes, and director and officer liability actions in the cable television, financial services, telecommunications, information services and consulting industries. Among recent matters, Mr. Draigh has represented Comcast Corporation in numerous consumer class actions in state and federal jurisdictions around the country, which have generally alleged unfair business practices related to billing practices, service disruptions, late-fee policy and the pass-through of franchise fees. He is currently representing Comcast, at the post trial and appellate level, in one such matter—brought by a competitor and also including antitrust claims—that was tried in the Middle District of Florida (Fort Myers), which granted Comcast’s motion for new trial. He has represented ChoicePoint Inc. in litigation alleging various trademark claims under the federal Lanham Act. He has represented various divisions of General Electric in commercial disputes involving marine financing, factoring agreements and distressed loan portfolios. He has represented a large Canadian bus manufacturer in connection with a bid protest over a multimillion-dollar contract offered by Broward County, Florida. In an international trusts and estates dispute, he has represented a European foundation involved in multiple litigations in the US and Europe.
