Competition Commission of Pakistan (Islamabad)

The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) was established on 2 October 2007 under the Competition Ordinance, 2007. The ordinance was enacted as the Competition Act in October 2010. The Commission is an independent quasi-regulatory, quasi-judicial body that is exclusively mandated under the Competition Act, 2010 and the Rules , Regulations , directives, and guidelines issued thereunder to ensure that competitive forces are unhindered in all spheres of commercial and economic activity to enhance economic efficiency and to protect consumers from anticompetitive behaviour across Pakistan.
