Christof Swaak is head of Stibbe’s competition and regulation practice in New York and Amsterdam. He specialises in European and Dutch competition law. His broad expertise includes European and Dutch competition law and he is a recognised specialist in complex multijurisdictional cartel cases, leniency and compliance issues. Christof received a PhD in European law and was a senior lecturer for four years at the European Institute of Leiden University. He has also co-authored several books and lectured at programmes sponsored by organisations such as the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association. Furthermore, Christof has been active as ad hoc professor at various law schools including Fordham Law School (New York, USA), Yale Law School (New Haven, USA), Erasmus University (Rotterdam, NL) and Curacao University (Dutch Antilles).
