Case Manager and Settlement Officer

Christian is an educated lawyer and economist, HEC Paris and IEP Paris. He is currently employed in the Commission Directorate General for Competition working in the field of cartel law enforcement as a case manager and a settlement officer. He has been a Commission official for 14 years mainly active in the field of competition and being notably responsible for drafting decisions in e.g. Cases Michelin and Hard haberdashery: Needles and Fasteners. He was legal secretary in the EC Court of First Instance, successively at the cabinets of President Vesterdorf, Judge Labucka and Judge Vadapalas.
