Christian Ewald is Head of the Unit “Economic Issues” of the Bundeskartellamt which was newly established in July 2007. Christian Ewald joined the Bundeskartellamt in 1994. He studied economics and law and holds a university degree in economics of the University of Würzburg, Germany. From mid 2005 until mid 2007 he worked as a National Expert in DG Competition in Brussels in the course of a two-year secondment.
