Caroline O’Gorman is Seconded Attorney at Merck (Ireland). Caroline is an Associate in the Technology and Life Sciences Group. Her practice focuses on data protection and freedom of information compliance and she is also experienced in commercial and contentious intellectual property matters. She has advised a range of companies and institutions, both public and private, on all aspects of information management. Caroline has a particular interest in the management of data access and freedom of information requests in the context of litigation. She is the Irish Co-Chair for 2013 of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and she is co-author of the PLC Guide to Data Protection in Ireland. Caroline also sits on the Enactus Ireland Business Advisory Board for UCD and organises the bi-annual Arthur Cox Third Level Seminar.
