Barry Hawk is a leading expert in antitrust law and a former partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom where he was head of the EU and international antitrust practice group. He has been Director of the Fordham Competition Law Institute since 1974 and professor of U.S. and international antitrust law at Fordham Law School, while also teaching at Michigan Law School, Monash University Law School (Melbourne), New York University Law School and University of Paris V. He has served as Vice Chairman of the ABA Antitrust Section and chairman of the New York State Bar Association Antitrust Section. Professor Hawk is author of many books and articles on antitrust and competition law and policy, including the annual volumes of the Fordham Competition Law Institute.
