Amanda Bodger commenced her legal career, in 1987, with Mallesons Stephen Jaques. In 1996 she became a Partner at that firm, practising in the Competition Law team. Amanda retired from the Partnership in 2014 to take up the newly created role as Head of People and Operations – for Legal, at Telstra Corporation Ltd. In this role, Amanda worked closely with the Telstra Group General Counsel, and led an Operations team dedicated to and responsible for driving change, efficiencies, and the legal technology strategy for the internal Telstra Legal team. In September 2018, Amanda Bodger started a consultancy with King and Wood Mallesons. Amanda works closely with the Partners at KWM to help strengthen client relationships and for those that are interested, is available to discuss and help clients drive necessary changes, improve efficiencies and productivity, re-structure and refresh the in-house legal team and start the innovation and technology journey.
