Alf-Henrik Bischke has been a partner of Hengeler Mueller since 2000. He is based in Düsseldorf and was a resident in the firms’ Brussels office from 2006 to 2012. Alf-Henrik Bischke specialises in German and European competition and antitrust law, in particular merger control as well as international cartel investigations. He is also experienced in coordinating multi-jurisdictional filings. Recent matters concerned the automotive, media, advertising, construction, fast-moving consumer goods and manufacturing industries. Recent cartel matters handled by Mr Bischke include representing companies in the European Commission’s chloroprene rubber, marine hose, sanitary fittings and CRT cartel investigations. His recent merger control work includes representing Chinese companies Weichai and CITIC Dicastal, as well as Korean company SKI Innovation, in European Commission merger control proceedings. Alf-Henrik Bischke studied at the universities of Hamburg and Freiburg and the European University Institute in Florence. He has authored, and co-authored, a number of books and articles on European and German competition law.
