Alessandra Prastaro has a post-graduate diploma for Company Lawyers and Human Resources Managers, Tecnopolis, Valenzano (Bari, 1997-98). She qualified as Avvocato and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2000. She joined Clifford Chance in 1998. Alessandra speaks Italian and English. Her experience in recent years includes: Advising a leading cement group in proceedings before the Competition Authority and Administrative Courts in relation to an alleged cartel in the concrete sector; Advising an international pharmaceuticals group in relation to a claim of alleged unfair competition and abuse of a dominant position raised before an ordinary court ; Advising an important banking group in relation to proceedings before the European Commission and Community Courts in relation to alleged State aid.
