President

Aldash Aitzhanov is President of JSC "Center for Development and Protection of Competition Policy" (Astana, Kazakhstan) an analytical and consulting company specialising in antitrust regulatory matters, where he focuses on a variety of issues dealing with consumer and competition policy. Prior to Center, Mr. Aitzhanov worked at the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Competition Protection (Antimonopoly Agency), where he served as a Director of Department of Strategic Planning, and a Director of Investigation Department. Aldash also served as a Chief of Analytical Administration in the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Fighting with Economic and Corruption Crimes (Financial Police) and a Chief of Scientific Research Center of Financial Policy Academy. Mr. Aitzhanov holds a PhD in Economics. He also has MSc degree in Public Policy (UCL).
