Alana Van Caenegem focuses on commercial, intellectual property and data protection law. Alana has experience in all aspects of technology licensing and commercialization, including complex services, distribution, outsourcing and software development agreements. Alana also advises corporates on data protection matters and free and open source licensing. Furthermore, she assists both domestic and international clients on a variety of commercial matters and contracts in their day-to-day business. Prior to being an associate at Cresco, Alana was an associate in the TMT/IP department of Linklaters (2012-2014). She obtained her master degree in law at the University of Ghent (UG, 2011) and also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Intellectual Property and Competition Law, University of Liège (ULG, 2012).
