Alan Davis joined Pinsent Masons in 2017. He heads the EU & Competition Law Group of the firm. He is qualified as a solicitor in England and Ireland, and practised in Brussels for six years including a year with the European Commission. He advises on transactional matters, including UK, EU and multi-jurisdictional merger filings, investigations into anti-competitive agreements and practices including cartels, OFT market studies and Competition Commission market investigations. He is regularly involved in proceedings before the European Commission, the Office of Fair Trading, the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the Competition Commission. Alan has specialist experience of the financial services and insurance, air transport, construction, energy and manufacturing sectors.
