Akos is the managing economist of Allegro Consulting since 2016. Prior to founding Allegro Consulting, Akos was working as a competition economist at RBB Economics. He worked on numerous cases involving mergers and acquisitions as well as cartel (Article 101) and dominance (Article 102) cases both in front of the European Commission and national jurisdictions. Akos has experience with cases concerning a broad range of sectors including markets of telecommunications, rapid package delivery, hard-disk drives, wholesale fruit, FMCG, aggregates, cement, asphalt, retail business, beer, animal health products. His track record includes high-profile merger cases like FedEx/TNT, AngloAmerican/Lafarge, DIGI/Invitel, Chiquita/Fyffes, Western Digital/Hitachi, AG Barr/Britvic. His non-merger experience covers information exchange, exclusive dealing as well as cartel damages estimation cases. Akos has an MSc in economics & law. Akos is fluent in English and Hungarian and has intermediate knowledge of French, Dutch and German.
