Agne is Public Policy Lead for Regulated Industries, APAC at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Previously, she was a Senior Legal & Regulatory Counsel at Vodafone Global Enterprise in Istambul. Prior to joining Vodafone, Agne was a lawyer in Trowers & Hamlins’ Bahrain office which she joined in 2007 from Lideika, Petrauskas, Valiunas and Partners LAWIN, the largest law firm in Lithuania. Agne specializes in competition and telecommunications regulatory law. Before joining the Lithuanian law firm, Agne worked as a legal advisor at the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania and Lithuanian Communications Regulatory Authority, where she gained extensive experience in competition, IT and telecommunications, energy and natural resources regulatory practice, implementation of the EC and international law. In 2006 April-July Agne was on secondment at the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, London office, where she mainly practiced in EC competition law area. In 2008 Agne was granted an LLM diploma from the King’s College London, University of London. Focus of her studies were the EC, the US and the UK Competition law. She is also currently a PhD student at Vilnius University, Faculty of Law. Field of research - general competition law and e-communications regulatory law (EC and Lithuanian law perspectives).
