Teresa Moreria holds a Law Degree of the Faculty of Law of Lisbon, University of Lisbon, 1982 and a Master in European Law of the Faculty of Law of Lisbon, University of Lisbon, 1993. She was member of the Board of the Portuguese Competition Authority from March 2003 to March 2008. She was teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law of Lisbon, University of Lisbon - from April 1986 to October 2006, in the areas of International Economic Law and European Community Law; and in the European Institute and the Institute for Economic, Financial and Fiscal Law (graduate studies) of the same Faculty in the areas of European Competition Law, European Economic Law and EC Competition procedural law. She was Director-General for International Economic Relations, Ministry of Economy of Portugal from January 2001 to March 2003; Deputy Director-General for International Economic Relations, Ministry of Economy - from December 96 to December 2000. Mrs Moreira is currently Senior Counsel at the Directorate-General for Economic Activities, Ministry of Economy and Innovation, Portugal.
