Gary ZANFAGNA: Antitrust compliance from the inside

In this interview, Gary Zanfagna talks about his experience as Chief Antitrust Counsel and Associate General Counsel of Honeywell International, and notably about the antitrust issues of a global acting company.

You have been in charge of antitrust for Honeywell for fifteen years. That is a daunting task. What approaches and techniques have helped you most in this endeavor? My approach to the job as Honeywell’s in-house antitrust counsel is simple: learn the Honeywell businesses from within; gain experience working with the businesses; and create meaningful, trusting relationships with the business leaders and lawyers.
