Merger control in the IT sector: An overview of EU and national case law

Since its creation, e-Competitions has been a very innovative review both in terms of editorial line and content, and it may therefore not take too long until the foreword (and possibly also most of the contributions) is drafted by some kind of artificial intelligence. We are indeed on the verge of major evolutions in this technology field, combined with big data and the raise of data science. But for now, the readers shall just accept the fact that these lines are written by a mere human being, who is pleased to have been invited by the editors to contribute to this special issue on merger control in the IT sector.
