The Moldovan Competition Authority grants immunity from fine to a leniency applicant in a bid rigging case (Litarcom / Capillati / Ecosem Grup)

On 5 July 2018, the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova (CC) [1] found the signs of bid rigging in the public procurement, organized by local administration in the Glodeni county. [2] The CC initiated its investigation on the basis of the leniency application filed by Ecosem Grup SRL, which admitted that the leniency applicant together with two other firms (Litarcom SRL and Capilatti SRL) engaged in collusion at the tender for the procurement of works on the water and sewage system in 2014.
