Dr. Piankov consults on the assessment of damages in intellectual property disputes in a variety of industries, market analyses and assessments of damages for major antitrust matters, and assessments of drug safety and efficacy profiles in litigation and non-litigation contexts. He has served as an expert on issues of damages and statistical inference. Dr. Piankov has also supported experts in a variety of class action litigations, on issues ranging from price overcharges to misleading advertising and insufficient disclosure of information. In a variety of industries – including health care, auto manufacturing, energy and shipping services – he has also supported experts in analyses of statistical sampling and statistical inference.
