ndrea Agathoklis Murino, a partner and co-chair of Goodwin Procter’s Antitrust Practice, focuses her practice on a broad spectrum of antitrust matters, including the antitrust elements of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution and intellectual property arrangements and other business conduct. Ms. Murino specializes in representing clients before the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, state attorneys general and international competition law enforcement agencies. She also provides advice to trade associations regarding compliance with antitrust laws and related matters. Her clients have included companies in the high-technology, computer hardware and software, telecommunications, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, energy, retail and consumer products industries. Murino served the highest decision-makers at both federal antitrust enforcement agencies. She was an attorney advisor to former FTC Chairman and Commissioner William Kovacic where she offered advice on a diverse array of competition and consumer protection matters. She then served as a counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust at the Department of Justice where she advised the Assistant Attorney General and the Deputy Assistant Attorneys General on criminal and civil enforcement matters. She joins Goodwin having been a partner with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
