Péter SÜKÖSD works as an investigator-advisor at the Hungarian Competition Authority (Gazdasági Versenyhivatal). Since September 2007, he also works as consultant for the Competition Division of the OECD. He received his law degree from University of Pecs, Faculty of Law, and is currently completing his PhD. His research focuses on the global dimensions of EC competition law. During his law studies, he spent a year studying at the University of Warwick's School of Law, and in 2002 attended the Bancaja Euromediterranean Courses of International Law at Universitat Jaume I (UJI) in Castellón, Spain. A two-time recipient of the Scholarship of the Hungarian Republic for academic excellence (2000 and 2002), he also publishes widely on enforcement of Hungarian and EC competition law.
