
Stefania Amoruso joined Legance Studio Legale Associato in September 2009. She is a Senior Associate in the Rome office where she works in the EU, antitrust and regulation department and has a specific focus on energy, insurance and consumer goods as well as a solid expertise on misleading advertising. In 2008 Stefania obtained an LL.M. degree from New York University School of Law, where she also worked as research assistant in the Trade Regulation program. Upon graduation, Stefania joined the Antitrust Bureau of the New York State Department of Law where she worked as Assistant of the Attorney General, A. Cuomo, for one year. She also holds a Master's degree in European Law at the Institut d'études européennes of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (2002). Before joining Legance, Stefania practiced in the antitrust and regulatory departments of top rated firms in Brussels and in Rome. She advised and represented national and international clients before EC Commission, Italian Competition Authority and national courts, in cases concerning mainly cartel proceedings, mergers, distribution contracts and State aids. Her native language is Italian, and she is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
